Fed by Jed offer affordable, chef prepared, ready-to-heat and eat meals delivered to your door. The meals are delivered frozen in containers suitable for heating in either a microwave or oven to ensure ease of use and convenience when reheating. The Fed by Jed home delivery menu provides an extensive rotating menu of tasty, flavour filled meals to encourage well-being and provide a better quality of life for Australian seniors requiring some assistance with meals.

The best part about ordering from Fed by Jed is you can select your meals! Choose any combination of main meals, soups and desserts to fit within your week and meet your taste preferences.
If you have home delivered, ready-made meals within your Home Care Package, the funds will generally cover 70% which includes the meal preparation cost plus delivery. The remaining 30% will be paid as a co-payment to cover the ingredient cost.
Each Fed by Jed home delivered meal is fully prepared to-order and provides a tasty meal solution. Utilising the government subsidised co-payment method means that 70% of the meal cost is provided. All the home delivered meals are cooked using fresh ingredients and include a range of rotating traditional home-made style meals packed with flavour. Each meal is delivered frozen to ensure easy storage and reheating.
How do I know if my Home Care Package agreement includes delivered meals?
If your Home Care Package includes home delivered, ready-made meals you can utilise funds for Fed by Jed home delivered meals. Funds from your plan cover the meal preparation and delivery cost portion of each meal. You will be required to co-contribute the ingredient portion of the cost.
If you are not sure if you are covered, you can contact your case manager or home care provider to find out if home delivered meals can be ordered as part of your package.
Who are the meals good for?
The meals are suitable for the elderly living at home who require additional assistance with meal preparation and freedom to remain at home. Additionally, the Fed by Jed home-made delivered meals are a popular choice for people residing within a retirement community or residential age care.
Another demographic of those enjoying home delivered meals is people in the community who have just left hospital. Post-operative care, or those recovering from injury, can utilise ready-to-heat meals making recovery easier while allowing the focus to be placed on getting better rather than cooking.
Home Care Package meal cost
While each persons Home Care Package varies, it is generally either a 70/30 split for those whose package includes delivered prepared meals. This means that Fed by Jed home delivered meals purchased within a care package will have 70% contributed and will need to pay the remaining 30% of the cost.

What meals are available?
Fed by Jed offers soups, main meals and desserts within a rotating colour-coded menu. The menu is rotated weekly on a four week cycle. Each rotating coloured menu provides tasty meals including a selection of vegetarian and pescatarian soups and main meals.
How do I organise Home Care Package funded meals with Fed by Jed?
At Fed by Jed we don’t believe in lock in contracts which means you can utilise our delivery service as required. Your prepared meals get delivered on a Monday or Tuesday and arrive frozen ready for easy storage and convenient heating. We offer a handy online order form or a downloadable order form that can be printed, filled in and supplied. Meal orders can be placed weekly, however we prefer monthly orders. Once an order has been placed we will confirm your order has been received and supply an invoice for payment.
