Fed by Jed began with a food van and a dream. We took the van to the Geelong Show and were overjoyed when our food and service won Best New Exhibit. Fast forward a few years and Fed by Jed is now a full-time home delivery and catering business.

We are proud to have our home-cooked meals supply The Golden Plains Shire, HESSE Rural Health and many other businesses across the region. We’re pleased to be a local favourite deliverer of chef prepared meals for our regular customers’ needs, as well as catering weddings, birthdays, training days, and everything in between.

But we are not going to stop here! Fed by Jed have had big dreams and we’ve worked hard to make them a reality. In October of 2023, we opened a large commercial kitchen with a small store front in Bannockburn. This provides the space to allow us to upscale and keep up with demand for our meals and catering while also giving us a permanent shop in our local region to share our passion for quality locally made meals and friendly customer service.

At Fed by Jed we cook big, and dream big. We can't wait to see our offering evolve even further in the coming years. So stay tuned!

Kitchens are made to bring families together.

Fed by Jed is a family owned and operated business. So much so that even our name comes from the three family members who started the business. Fed by Jed - Jordi, Ella and Darcy.

Fed by Jed was born from a desire to work together as a family. With the team coming from a hospitality background, and Jordi a qualified chef - a food based business was the perfect recipe for our skills. The ingredients were always among our skillset, it was time to bake a business together. And luckily for us it rose and just took off!

Family Focus

Jordi is the manager of the business and chef. With a background as a bartender, waiter and qualified chef - Jordi uses his more than 18 years cooking and hospitality experience to create unique meal offerings for Fed by Jed. The inspiration for much of the varied meals on the Fed by Jed menu comes from Jordi initially training as an Asian chef before moving to other restaurants. Asian, Mediterranean and Italian flavours run through Fed by Jed meals. As well as a focus on finger food and nouvelle cuisine - all inspired by Jordi's kitchen background. If you can eat it, he will try and cook it!

Ella, Jordi's partner, is the secret key to Fed by Jed. A talented sous chef in the preparation of home-delivered meals and catering. Ella is the face of Fed by Jed's home-delivered meals, and the true definition of a jack-of-all-trades. She is the ultimate grounding force in Fed by Jed. Always keen to help with any element of the business and eager to learn. Watch out Jordi!

Then there is our secret weapon Bridgie; Ella’s mum. The glue that somehow manages to hold it all together. She loves a good chat at any of our pop-up restaurants and is more than willing to jump in and lend a helping hand with the business. Plus, we can’t forgot to mention the fact that Bridgie is the Queen of Slices available at catering functions and in the Fed by Jed shop most Wednesdays. The mix slice trays have become a Fed by Jed customer favourite, but don’t delay too long as they often sell out!
