Fed by Jed are passionate about providing our local Golden Plains Shire, Geelong and the surrounding community with high quality, locally produced meals.
We know the important role that food plays in our wellbeing, but especially for those who find it hard to cook for themselves, those with specific dietary needs, taste preferences and specific portion needs. As a food company that cooks meals in small batchs, fresh to order, we noticed that older Australians had trouble getting good meals, so we wanted to help with that.
So, in addition to providing meals, we have a solution that automates the administrative complexities for both Care Provider and HCP recipients. This includes only charging 30% of the meal upfront, whilst invoicing the Care Provider the remaining amount. We also make it easy for the recipient to sign up and place their orders.
Access HCP rebated meals
Home Care Packages (HCP) allow eligible Senior Australians to access funds with the purpose of allowing them to stay at home for longer. One of the key parts of HCP is that it allows approved customers to order ready-made meals while only paying 30% of the cost of the meal.
If you have an approved package, please ask your Care Provider to email Fed by Jed a referral or complete the signup process through our online ordering system. This will allow you to easily access the rebated meals with Fed by Jed. Use the button below to visit the appropriate online form.
How HCP meals work
You can sign up as a HCP customer via this link, or by asking your Care Provider to get in touch with Fed by Jed.
Once your application has been approved by your care provider, you are ready to order! Place your order online, whilst only paying 30% of cost of the meal at the time of ordering. We then invoice your Care Provider directly.
Orders can be placed by either utilising:
• Our weekly menu email reminder;
• By clicking on this link at any point in time;
• By calling 0440 138 481 on a Monday between 12pm-4pm to place your order over the phone. Phone orders are only accepted on this dedicated number on Mondays between 12pm-4pm.Your order will be delivered directly to you each week on either a Monday or Tuesday depending upon your location.

You need to apply via the myagedcare to determine your eligibility.

Eligible HCP recipients only need to pay 30% of the cost of the meals, with the remaining 70% and any delivery costs funded via their HCP package. We invoice your Care Provider for this additional amount.

You can sign up via following this link or asking your Care Provider to get in touch with us. Once approved by your Care Provider, you can start to place your orders.

Most people choose to order their meals directly online.
We also take phone orders. Phone orders are accepted exclusively on Mondays between 12pm-4pm on 0440 138 481. Please note phone orders will not be processed outside of these hours. Payment for your contribution share of the order will be collected during the call; kindly have your credit card ready
