Information for new Home Care Package (HCP) customers
If you have recently been referred to Fed by Jed we would like to go over the process of placing your first home care package (HCP) order. First of all I would like to thank you for choosing Fed by Jed, and welcome you onboard.
Alternatively, if you are a new HCP customer, or are thinking of moving your funded meals from another provider to Fed by Jed, the below information may prove helpful - please read on.
Benefits of HCP meals with Fed by Jed
All meals are cooked locally in Bannockburn and are prepared using fresh locally sourced ingredients
Fed by Jed have four unique, colour-coded menus that rotate on a four week basis. Giving you variety in meals each week. View the full home delivery menu here
Each of the four menus offer meat, chicken, fish and vegetarian main meal options. The menu also contains soups and desserts
All meals can be heated in the container they are supplied in. The special containers allow the main meals to be heated in the microwave (approximately 3-5min once defrosted) or oven (approximately 30mins)
Orders can be placed online, over the phone or supplied in person to your delivery driver
Plus, you are not locked in to ongoing orders or a contract
How the Fed by Jed HCP menu works
Fed by Jed have four unique colour coded menus that rotate weekly. The menus follow the order of Green, Red, Blue, Yellow and then cycle back to Green and repeat through. The four menus are designed to offer variety of meals throughout the month to ensure you have a variety of options each week. Every menu includes soups, main meals and desserts. The main meal menu always offers vegetarian and pescatarian meals as well as chicken and red meat options.
To know what colour menu will be delivered each week we have created a handy calendar for your reference. You can view the calendar online here or download a print friendly version. We ask that you please place your orders seven days in advance – cut off for all orders is 5pm Tuesday for delivery the following week. Weekly orders are accepted or you have the ability to place multiple orders at once.
How to place a HCP ready-made meal order
Orders can be placed in one of three ways:
Via the order form. Please visit this link and place your order. Note that you will need to have an account setup with Cookaborough (our online order system). You can begin the process of setting up a HCP funded account by clicking here. The account will then need to be approved by your service provider. We may have already created an account for you and sent through login details to begin the process. If we have not provided you with login details, please get in contact if you would like help to set this up.
Placing an order over the phone. Call the Fed by Jed team on a Tuesday to setup the following weeks delivery. Please call us on (03) 9362 4699 to place your order over the phone.
Fill in a paper form. Download an order form and fill in the meals you would like to order each week.

Making a payment
If you order online you will pay your 30% contribution when ordering. The remaining 70% will be invoiced to your home care provider.
If you place your order over the phone or via the paper form you can order meals throughout the course of the month. At the end of the month all your meals will be tallied up and invoiced out via your percentage split. For example, where there is a 70/30 split - 30% will be invoiced directly to you on the last Tuesday of the month and the remaining 70% goes to your service provider.
These monthly invoices can be paid in one of four ways:
Over the phone on a Friday between 9am-12pm. Payment will be processed via card using details you supply to us over the phone. Please call (03) 9362 4699 for this payment method
Cash on delivery
With a cheque made out to ‘Fed by Jed Pty Ltd’ provided to your delivery driver
Via direct debit using GoCardLess. Please set up a direct debit request here: pay.gocardless.com/AL0015HQEYGVQH
Using the link in your supplied email invoice. The link is easily accessed at the bottom of your email invoice and will take you to process the payment with Stripe online.
